30hgsa

Alloy 30HGSA belongs to a number of alloyed structural alloys, which is also called «Chromansil» due to its chemical elements Cr, Mn and Si.

General characteristics

This steel produce in chemical composition, which is regulated by GOST 4543 of 1973. Main element is iron, whose share is 96%. Presence in composition of chromium (0.8−1.1%) gives alloy property of corrosion resistance and thanks to manganese (0.8−1.1%), metal received increased wear resistance and impact resistance.

At same time, silicon composition from 0.9% to 1.2% increases toughness, and ductility allows you to process steel using stamping and forging.

Application area

Metal 30HGSA is specially created for aviation, but is also used in engineering and construction industries. The following products are made of metal:

  1. Shafts;
  2. Axial and flange products;
  3. Hull and skin of aircraft;
  4. Shovels for compressor machines, for operation at 200 ° С;
  5. Management mechanisms;
  6. Welded structures used for variable loads;
  7. Anchor bolts and nuts;
  8. Fasteners specializing in low temperatures, etc.

Alloy is produced in such types of products as rods, tape, sheets, circles and another.
